What a difference a day makes

Alan Klinkhoff inspecting the progression of work at Galerie Alan Klinkhoff. Even yesterday morning, the gallery space seemed like an empty shell and it looked like there was still much work to be done...no lighting, no hanging equipment, and there were ladders, sheets and workmen everywhere (see yesterday's post). It hardly felt like an art gallery. One day has changed all that. Yesterday, we hung some paintings - hanging paintings somehow always makes a place feel more like home. Although we have been fully operational from a temporary space since January 1, today we will move our desks into what is now an art gallery at 1448 Sherbrooke West and begin working out of it. Check out the Beaulieu still life!
