ProvenancePrivate collection, Toronto.
Our original family art gallery, Galerie Walter Klinkhoff, had the honour of representing Henri.
Back in Canada, he [Masson] set vigorously to work, and by the following year was able to present two important exhibitions: one at the Walter Klinkhoff Galleries and the other at the Art Emporium in Vancouver, B.C. In December 1974, the Canadian Post Office issued four stamps for Christmas. One of these was “Les Patineurs de Hull,” by Masson, the other three being works by R.C. Todd, Clarence Gagnon and Jean-Paul Lemieux. For Masson, 1975 was a preparatory year for the great exhibition of his works held on February 17, 1976 at the Walter Klinkhoff Galleries. (1)
