La galerie Alan Klinkhoff est fière de présenter cette exposition et vente d'œuvres sur papier de divers artistes canadiens. Parmi notre communauté grandissante de collectionneurs et de collectionneuses, il existe un certain nombre de passionné(e)s qui ont un intérêt particulier pour cette catégorie de collection d'art. Le charme est qu’à ce stade du processus artistique, l’artiste révèle ce que notre cher ami, l’important artiste canadien Claude A. Simard, appelait “the input (l’inspiration immédiat)” [traduction libre] dans l'évolution de l'œuvre d'art. (L’œuvre finale, probablement réalisée à l’huile, est appelée “output (produit final)” [traduction libre]). Il y a en effet une certaine excitation à “sentir” véritablement la main de l’artiste à la genèse de son œuvre. Avec notre magnifique pastel de Clarence Gagnon, nous voyons une transition mûre, bien au-delà de la création du concept, juste avant l’application de la peinture sur la toile. Les gravures, aquatintes et sérigraphies témoignent d'une "production", obtenue par un processus créatif long et discipliné.
La collection d'œuvres sur papier est une niche qui permet aux amateurs d'acquérir de belles œuvres d'art à des prix relativement modestes. Nous encourageons vos achats.
